Textiles Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of Textiles to join our Technology Faculty.

Applicants will be creative, collaborative and flexible in their teaching, and must be able to create a classroom environment that engages all learners. Applicants should be well versed in the NZ Curriculum, including the changes to curriculum and NCEA assessment.

The successful applicant will teach in a large, newly refurbished learning space and enjoy the collaborative support of the Technology Faculty. This position carries responsibility for the Textiles area, with responsibilities in other Technology areas to be negotiated.

Head of Faculty Technology

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and innovative teacher to lead our successful Technology Faculty. The successful applicant will have proven leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the drive and vision to continue to grow this important area of our school. Applicants will be passionate about improving student engagement and achievement and will be committed to developing modern teaching and learning practises.

We offer hard materials in metal and wood, DVC, digital technology, textiles technology , and food technology to all junior and senior students. We also offer hospitality to seniors. Experience in Hard Materials and DVC is preferred.
